About Margie

Hi, my name is Margie! I was born and raised in Cincinnati, and have spent the last 5 years living in Santa Barbara, California. I graduated from UCSB, and worked there for a bit after doing environmental education and marine science research. I love to cook, craft, read, and play games, and I am recently CPR and first aid certified! I have a driver's license and a car, and have some experience watching pets as well. I would love to help out with your childcare needs! :) I like working with kids because they are FUN! I love their enthusiasm for the world and trying new things, their creativity, and unique senses of humor. I started working with kids 10 years ago, babysitting my neighbors. Since then I have continued babysitting, part time nannied, and worked as a camp counselor for day camp and overnight camps!
