About Margaret

Margaret cared for our daughter from when she was 3 months old until she was around 20 months old, and we feel very lucky to have had her with our family. Margaret was wonderful with our baby. She is very calm, patient, affectionate, active, and very engaged. They clearly had a lot of fun together, and R. trusted her completely. Margaret was great about getting her out of the house. They spent a lot of time at parks and libraries, and Margaret found a nice group of other caregivers and children for playdates and activities. I really appreciated how active and social she made R.'s days. Margaret was also incredibly dependable. She was always on time, very flexible with her schedule and willing to help when our schedule changed, including occasional date nights and other extra childcare needs. She is very self-sufficient and doesn’t need a lot of direction. She would notice what needed to be done and take care of it without needing direction. We have a big, sometimes chaotic household with three older children as well, and Margaret fit into our family very easily. She got along really well with all of our kids and was always willing to help however she could, including laundry, dishes, taking one of the older kids somewhere at the last minute, or just jumping in when something needed to get done. Not much fazed her, which we really valued. Margaret is kind, generous, reliable, and someone we trusted completely. She became an important part of our household, and I would recommend her to any family looking for a caring, capable, and dependable nanny.
