I hired Margaret for a 2 day deep clean of my house. We agreed that she would clean two floors, clean the refrigerator and wash/fold 6 loads of laundry. She did a great job on the floors, countertops, bathrooms and back door. However, she did not clean the fridge or wash the laundry (she did fold a few loads that were already clean). She did not dust the fans, did not clean the bottom of the coffee table. When I asked her about it, she said that the job took all day, and cost her gas and supplies. She still wanted to be paid the full $500 we agreed to, even though she did not complete the work. Note: she came to the house and did a complete walk-through before agreeing to the job and price. I paid her, but I feel I got ripped off. The laundry and fridge are time-consuming jobs and I hired her specifically to help with those. Instead of getting the deep-clean I paid for, I got a housekeeping job. I came home to a dirty fridge and 6 baskets of unfolded laundry in my bedroom.
