About Margaret

I started working with kids when I was 12 years old, beginning as a babysitter for some of my younger cousins and the kids on my block. I then proceeded to keep babysitting, as well as start my career as a teacher. I have worked as a swim instructor for the past four years, and am now currently enrolled at KU as an elementary education major. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends and family, I love to draw and paint, roller skate, play lacrosse on the KU women's lacrosse team, and spend time outdoors! One thing you should know about me is while I like to have fun and keep a positive work environment, I also know when to be serious and enforce boundaries that the parents put in place. My skills include cooking, cleaning, creating fun activities that do not involve electronics, multitasking, and maintaining a safe work environment.
