About Margaret

I have 30+ years of experience as both an in-home tutor, 1:1, and in small groups. I have Elementary and Special Education degrees, was a Pre-K director/teacher who designed curriculum and assessment for all ages/abilities of students. I also assist students in creating organizers and study guides to become independent learners. I work with students having special needs adapting curriculum and study materials, as well as with students needing remedial help in the traditional classroom. I am very capable with English/Grammar and elementary subject matter. I have years of experience working with students having Autism Spectrum Disorders (SED, BD, AS) and physical and mental challenges (TBI, CP, and MS), as well as verbal and non-verbal learners. I am CPR/First Aid certified, have all current clearances and can provide excellent professional references. I assist student with college coach/prep on essays, good fit/match research, scholarship opportunities, and managing deadlines.
