About Margaret

I have been caring for children for over a decade. My passion for fostering their growth and development and my desire to make a positive impact on their lives led me to this rewarding career. I spent three years as an early elementary school teacher and one year as a middle school teacher and also taught children's swim lessons and lifeguarded for eight years. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I communicate regularly with parents about their child's day. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and am comfortable caring for two children aged 0-11. I am a certified teacher with First Aid and CPR training and have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development. I am also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I love going on adventures and seeing the world through the eyes of children.
