Between teaching, day care and being a nanny I have over 30 years of experience. I am the mother of three children. I have a Master's of education degree with a concentration in early childhood, and taught grades k-5. Margaret ("Mimi") worked with our family for 2 years. We would have loved to have kept her on longer, but changes in my employment due to Covid-19 shifted our childcare needs this year. Margaret was a wonderful caregiver to my toddler son, and put true heart into the time she spent with him. She was always punctual (even for our 6:45am start time) and came prepared with an age-appropriate project to complete each week with my son. Margaret stuck to my son's schedule, but took every opportunity to get him outside and on various adventures - to playgrounds, the recreation center, indoor play spaces, etc. She was also self-reflective and asked for feedback as to how things were going, if any changes needed to occur, etc. Margaret was responsible, warm, caring, punctual, trustworthy, and dependable. I very highly recommend her!
