Hi there! My name is Margaret (Meg) and I moved to Jacksonville in January 2022 from New York. I am originally from New Jersey, and I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston in 2012 with a degree in Communication Studies and Psychology. I have lived in New Jersey, Boston, Washington DC, and New York City since I graduated college, and I babysat and nannied for several families in each area I have lived in. I have over 18 years of babysitting, nannying, overnight, and vacationing experience with all age groups, including newborns. I am comfortable with pets (especially dogs!), and am happy to help with household upkeep and meal prep, etc. When spending time with kiddos, I like to make sure they have a balance of spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, doing arts and crafts, having sing-a-longs, and helping with homework. I love seeing children grow up and develop their personalities, what they like and dislike, and how we can have fun, be safe, and learn from each other!

This was my first time booking a caregiver through care.com and I was hesitant, but Meg was extremely kind and professional when we spoke on the phone before the job and she put me at ease. She arrived early and was attentive to the notes I was giving her. She also immediately engaged my son and was very confident in her ability to take care of my infant. When I arrived home, my baby had woken up and all was well. She did a phenomenal job; my kids were well cared for and had fun, she communicated super well, and overall was just a joy. I hope to hire Meg again and highly recommend her.
