About Maren

My name is Maren -- I am an outdoor educator and childcare professional, in between things this summer before going to grad school!. I have a breadth of experience with children, from working last year as a mixed age (3-6) kindergarten/pre-K teacher, designing and leading summer camp programming for kids aged 7-10, and many nannying/ babysitting gigs over the years. I especially love to engage children in outdoor and nature-based play, arts and crafts, and reading. I am comfortable caring for 4+ children of all ages helping with cleaning, groceries, and other household tasks, etc. I am also fully bilingual and biliterate in Spanish, so any interest in helping kids either maintain or learn Spanish through reading, talking, etc is right up my alley! I will be based in Eden Prairie from early June until the beginning of August, when I am moving to pursue my master's degree. I am available full time during that window, so let me know if our schedules would be compatible!
