About Marena

Hello! My name is Marena. I graduated from Waynesburg University in December (2021) with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. I aspire to work with kids and to help and support each individual in the way that is best for them. I have a strong focus on mental health and believe that social and emotional learning is essential. It's imperative that we take care of not only our own mental health, but that of others as well. I also love and adore animals, being in nature, art/crafts, and learning about personality and why we do what we do. In addition to my academic focus in childhood development, I have plenty of experience with watching kids, playing along side them, caring for them, and working in a daycare. I have the following background clearances completed: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprints, and NSOR. Additional certifications that I have completed include: Mandated Reporter and CPR/ First Aid.
