About Marcy

I'm an imaginative and friendly childcare provider with 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, I'm also a certified teacher with early childhood education coursework, and I have CPR and First Aid training. I was an elementary school teacher for over 10 years. I have 5 children of my own, ranging in ages 14-25. One is a pilot, three are in college and my baby (lol) will be a freshman in high school. As an experienced childcare provider, I understand the importance of communication with parents. I follow the parents' preferred communication method and keep them updated on their child's day. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules because I believe that children need structure and guidance to feel safe and secure. I love educational games that promote learning. I am big on play and reading-love to encourage children to use their imagination versus the tablets/tv.
