About Marco

Hello! I am a credentialed elementary school teacher with 6+ years of experience in a bilingual classroom setting. I have a masters degree in education with bilingual authorization (English and Spanish) and a bachelor's degree in Spanish. Now that I have cleared my teaching credential, I am looking to explore other teaching options and get some experience doing education-adjacent work outside of the classroom. Currently I am working as a special education para-educator in SFUSD and previously was working as a substitute teacher in the district. I also have experience leading surf lessons and running surf camps with students of all ages and abilities (children to adults). I would like to supplement this work doing some tutoring. I am fluent in Spanish and am an avid traveler. In my spare time I love to surf, skateboard, ride my bike, and spend time with friends and family.
