Hi! I saw your post and would love to connect about your nanny position. My name is Marcia. I'm 58, a mom of three grown sons and a very proud grandma! I've been a nanny for 18 years, caring for children of all ages, including babies and twins, and I also have nanny-share experience. I have excellent references from wonderful families I've worked with over the years. I'm loving, patient, reliable, energetic, and truly enjoy being with children. I love arts and crafts, stories, walks, playground adventures, exploring outdoors, and simply being silly and having fun with them. There's usually lots of singing too, even though I'm definitely not a great singer! The kids never seem to mind. I worked with two families for seven years, and we're still part of each other's lives today. We felt incredibly lucky when Marcia joined our family. She was our nanny for almost two years, caring for our 2.5 year old and 6 month old. She came into our house with a huge smile, always singing songs and ready to give the kids big hugs. Her energy and love for our kids was immediately apparent. She is very responsible and reliable, and always made sure our kids were well taken care of. She loved taking them to the playground and meeting other kids and nannies - I felt like she always had a new friend to tell me about. Our oldest is a passionate artist thanks to the crafts and fun projects that Marcia would do with her every day. Marcia is truly talented with using cardboard boxes and transforming them into art projects for the kids (farms! spaceships! fish!). Our house was bursting at the seams with love and creativity and happiness during the time Marcia was with us. We now have a third child and Marcia babysits on weekends - she can easily handle all three of our very (!) energetic kids and we are so incredibly thankful for everything she does for us and them. I strongly recommend Marcia to any family looking for a long term nanny - she is truly special.
