I was referred to Marcia by a trusted a friend. Our family was in a bind when we learned on short notice that our nanny of a couple years was leaving us. We needed someone to hit the ground running since I am was busy with my full time job and other things I had going on at the time. I didn't have sufficient time to train, however, Marcia picked up all our daily responsibilities immediately which included preparing meals for the kids (always thoughtful and healthy), picking them up at bus stop, cleaning our own, family laundry, putting food out for our dog, running simple errands, assisting kids during bedtime routine, etc. My 5 and 7-year old took to Marcia immediately. She is great with kids and knows how to appropriately manage them when out of line. She is engaging and initiated enriching activities, e.g. she brought children books to read. Marcia was flexible in terms of her willingness to take on more hours and travel with us. I highly recommend Marcia!
