About Marcella

Hi! I'm Marcella, an art student finishing my BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I'm bubbly, outgoing, and adventurous, and I love biking, camping, exploring nature, and making art. I've been babysitting since I was almost 13 and have worked as a nanny, tutor, swim instructor, and camp counselor. I genuinely love spending time with kids and seeing the world through their curiosity and imagination. I was raised with a very gentle and loving approach, and I believe in leading with patience, kindness, and understanding while giving children the space to develop their own personalities and creativity. As an artist, I especially love creating fun, screen-free activities, from making up games and building cardboard creations to getting outside and exploring. I'm also comfortable helping with meals, errands, schedules, school activities, and light housekeeping. Most of all, I love creating a warm, encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves.
