Marcela worked for us on a part-time basis for six months as well as provided full-time summer care. She was mostly dependable but we did have at least one instance where my husband had to take time off of work because she cancelled last minute. She was good with keeping the house tidy, dishes done, assisting with laundry. My two primary concerns with Marcela are 1.) she quit without providing notice; she was hired for on-going part-time care and had committed to work, then left us scrambling to find coverage. 2.) Language barrier: there were multiple situations that were challenging (especially for my children) in regards to misunderstandings due to language barrier.
