About Marcela

Hi, my name is Marcela! I am a parent myself, with two sons and a dog, and I understand the importance of finding a reliable and caring individual to look after children. I bring a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in insurance for several years. Currently, I am employed as a paraprofessional in a resource classroom, where I support children with both academic and behavioral needs. Before moving to the states, I graduated with a degree to teach in elementary schools in Honduras. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. My enthusiasm about the opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of children as been in a nurturing and supportive environment. I enjoy hands on activities such as art, bike riding, hiking, and teaching Spanish. I also enjoy downtime such as reading. My skills include cooking, cleaning and arranging rooms into a functional space, and staying organized with scheduling.
