Marcela is an exceptional nanny who has been caring for my two children for 1.5 years, starting when they were 1 and 3 years old. She genuinely loves kids and is dedicated to her role. Marcela is attentive and deeply aware of their needs, excelling at observing and understanding them. She takes safety very seriously and always keeps a close watch on what the kids are doing. Marcela spends quality time reading to them, playing, and teaching them various skills such as learning numbers and letters, putting toys away, and folding clothes. She has a positive attitude and brings immense joy to our home. Her drive and energy are evident in her willingness and enjoyment to tackle tasks like moving large furniture, chopping firewood, caring for pets, and helping fix cars. I have never had to ask her twice to do something, she gets things done which I have forgotten about! She is also honest, transparent, and very reliable. I don't worry about her randomly not showing up or being late. if something needs to change about her role or time, she will let people know ahead of time. She is one of the most accepting and caring people I have met, with a deep understanding of different personalities and tough situations. My daughter is very strong-willed and can be challenging to care for at times, but Marcela handles these moments with grace and maturity. Lastly, I have complete confidence in my children's safety with Marcela outside of the house. She is vigilant about the people around them, skilled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and doesn't tolerate anyone with bad intentions. I highly highly recommend Marcela as a nanny or other caretaker; she is a rare gem!
