About Marcela

I'm a compassionate, patient, and dedicated person when it comes to care with any person of age. I have been working as a certified nurse assistant and have worked at a nursing home for two years since l was 17 years old. So I am also very experienced in taking care of seniors. I've worked mostly in Memory care, rehab, assisted living, and SCU (Late stage dementia care). I've been through obstacles when it comes to care because it's not always easy, but patience and empathy is the most valuable and essential thing to have with anyone. I'm experienced with bathing, feeding, catheter care, and even whilst my patients dealing with infections like COVID-19. Throughout the years of my experience I've most definitely gained stronger skills and even more love for caring for people. I love talking and engaging with everyone, I think it's important most of all to build relationships and bond with whoever is in my care as well. I love seeing my residents smile, and assisting in any way.
