Hello there! My name is Maraya, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am a recent UC Davis Graduate and a young professional currently working towards my teaching credential. Additionally, I will be working full-time for the CSD Autism in Sacramento as a behavior specialist. As an educator, I have a passion working with kids with learning differences. My teaching philosophy has been built upon patience, kindness and enthusiastic encouragement. I have 4 years of experience and my expertise include: Algebra (1 & 2), English Grammar, Writing, Literature as well as French Language, but I provide tutoring for all subjects. My teaching goal is to help my students exercise their curiosity and find their own passion for learning, while adjusting for the needs of each child.
