About Mara

I taught at a French-immersion preschool and after-school care program for six years, and have additionally nannied since 2015. At the preschool, I worked with children ages 3-10, though primarily with those aged 3-6; as a nanny I have cared for children between the ages of 3 months and 13 years. In addition to my education in nutrition, health sciences, anthropology and french, I also have a background in dance, have taught children's classes and summer camps, and continue to train with a dance company. I love animals, exploring outdoors, and gluten-free baking. In my free time, I also enjoy hiking, photography, yoga, reading, jewelry-making, and researching natural medicine. I believe variety is the spice of life and thrive with multi-tasking. I am registered with Oregon Early Learning background registry.
