I've worked in adult residential care homes (ARCH) in the activities, housekeeping, dietary and health service departments. Care management experience. Experience with medication management and administration, communication with physicians and specialists, advanced healthcare directives, POLST, activities/engagement, housekeeping, meal prep and feeding. I've learned a lot about various diseases, chronic illnesses. In the last 3 years I've managed the care for 6 - 20 older adults who have dementia and co-morbidities. I have a special interest in dementia/memory care and have dedicated the past 10 years to working with challenging behaviors.
