About Mandy

I am 25 years old and would describe my personality as fun, artistic, and patient. I first started working with kids in middle school through church and school functions and loved the way I was able to push myself to connect with kids of all ages and social groups and then in turn learn/grow with them through new situations and social challenges. I am an artist and my college degree is in Graphic Design. Because of this, I love exploring new creative outlets and mediums, and love exposing the kids to new forms of art. I also love surfing, hiking, exploring the island and the obvious beach day. I come from a big family (my siblings range from 16-40), and that meant I spent a lot of time raising my younger bother. In addition my nieces are 5 and 6 and spent countless hours babysitting/nannying them while giving their parents some free time. I love giving kids new perspectives while also honoring and upholding the rules and values every parent sets for their kids.
