Hello, I have over 20 years of experience of taking care seniors. Experience with Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's and dementia. Excellent English, hospice, bedsore and wound care experience. Assistant with medication, doctors appointments, any personal care and most importantly keep warm, loving companionship. Very patient, kind and responsible. Worked for same family for 14 years. She is insightful, incredibly respectful of the patient's and family needs, and responsible. She is also a team player, communicates with everyone involved in the care, and has experience in all aspects of care for patients with advanced illness.

I cannot say enough positive things about Manana and the level of care and knowledge she brings to the table.  We chose to keep my father out of a nursing home and Manana took care of him like he was family.  He suffered from dementia and cancer and eventually became bed bound. She was excellent during every stage and made sure he was meticulously cared for. I do not know how we would have gotten through this without her.  You will not regret hiring her.

Manana was a gift from heaven for us.  We needed someone with experience with dementia patients and she was amazing in taking care of my mother in law. She assisted with ensuring daily showers, medication, spending time with her at the senior center. And most importantly, she made my MIL feel like she was her friend and never a patient.  She is not working with us now due to my MIL moving into an assisted living home. Otherwise, she would be working with us today. We were very lucky to have her.

Manana is the first person outside the family that he likes and allows care from. She is also very gentle. I was hoping that Manana would be part of our family for many years. Alas, my husband became very ill and now is home on hospice requiring 24 hour care. I highly recommend Manana. She will brighten your life or the life of your loved one. She is a wonderful, compassionate person.

Manana never let us down! She took great care of my father for over a year as he was loosing his battle with Parkinson's disease. My family and I were unable to fully take care of him at this point since he was bedridden and in need of respite care. She is very knowledgeable with lifting, changing, shifting for sleeping, wound care, dressing, feeding etc.
Manana always showed up when she said she would never missing a day and even came in on her day off when the other caregivers were sick. She was always very concerned with my fathers well being and dignity, her compassion was stellar!

My mother recently has been diagnosed with a terminal disease and needs a similar care plan that my father required. I called her and she immediately rearranged her work and life schedules to help us out.

I will always be grateful that we found Manana during these sad times, I don't think anyone could of done a better job. I'm sure I'm forgetting more of Manana accolades here but please don't hesitate to hire her in the future.

She is kind and knowledgeable- but if you need someone who can deal with aggression, which is often with dementia and aging, she is not the person, my mom unfortunately has dementia and is in an aggressive stage, was missing some meds - she was unable to deal with this, the yelling, and trying to hit her ....
But for companionship & trustworthiness she is a 5 star - just not a good fit for us .
