About Manal

I grew up in a loud and boisterous family with four other siblings and countless cousins - we were often left to entertain ourselves and take care of the younger ones in the pack. In addition to this, growing up, I have solely cared for several nieces, nephews and younger cousins on countless occasions from a very young age. I'm well-accustomed and trained to handling toddlers and children. I absolutely adore working with children and love spending time with them! I'm also used to helping out in daily domestic chores and feel confident in my ability to manage these daily tasks. This is why I also opted to work with children in my professional career - I'm a graduate student whose primary research interests include childhood development. At our lab, I routinely spend time with children aged 4 to 7 years to train them for research and engage with them meaningfully about science. I'm looking forward to contacting prospective families and so excited to begin working with them!
