About Malina

I worked with 4-month-olds to 8-year-olds at a homeschooling/childcare facility and prepared food, cleaned, played, and taught the children. I'd describe my personality as out going, patient, and very nurturing. I like working with kids because they they just want to play, make friends, and have fun, and I want to help provide a safe environment so they can do just that. I'm looking for a job that lets me not only look after the children, but to interact and learn about them. I started working with kids when I was a sophomore in high school and did so for two years. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, and just be outside. I also enjoy spending time with my dog Luna and take her on bike rides. One thing you should know about me is I strive to be a role model that kids can look up to. My skills include being patient and slowing kids down when they're struggling, knowing if how to connect with different ages, and being able to reassure them in stressful situations.
