About Malika

Hi! I'm Malika, a Registered Behavior Technician with a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Studies. I have experience caring for children of different ages and abilities, including nonverbal children and children with developmental needs. I've supported potty training and helped children and teens build communication, social, daily living, and independence skills through fun, engaging activities. Before becoming an RBT, I worked at KidZania, teaching children through imaginative play and hosting birthday parties. I also gained experience with babies and infant development while shadowing occupational therapists. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, planning activities, and keeping children's spaces clean and organized. I can follow each family's routines, including naps and bedtime. I'm warm, patient, playful, dependable, and genuinely love helping children feel safe, understood, and encouraged!
