About Malia

Hello parents! My name is Malia, I am 23 years old and recently graduated from UCLA with a B. S. in biochemistry. I live in La Costa now, am originally from Oceanside, and have been working as a certified babysitter and academic tutor since I was 12 years old. As of August 2025, I have been working full time with four families providing childcare and math tutoring. I love working with children and as a nanny for many reasons. One being the fulfilling bond and trust I build with my clients. It is gratifying to continue to improve my skills as a caregiver, and I am especially passionate now about the development of infants 2 and under! I have plenty of experience with special needs children as well due to my two nephews (ages 10 and 12) being on the spectrum with autism and ADHD. I am also basic life support, CPR, and Heimlich certified!
