About Malia

I have 10 years of childcare experience and experience working with children and young adults with disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Most recently, I worked at Summer Camp SOAR, where I supported children with disabilities while helping them build confidence, independence, social skills, and everyday life skills. I am CPR and First Aid certified and certified in medication administration. I am patient, dependable, caring, and comfortable adapting to each child's individual needs. I enjoy outdoor activities, games, puzzles, and educational activities, and I am also a strong swimmer who can provide swimming supervision. Safety is always my priority, and I believe in maintaining open communication with parents while respecting household routines and rules. Most importantly, I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children can have fun, learn, and grow.
