About Malia

I am currently looking for part-time positions for Fall 2022 near Santa Rosa. I am an actress (theater, dance, singing) and teacher with lots of eclectic experience working with children - from nannying to Associate Teacher last year at Marin Country Day School. I have worked with children in school and at home for more than 10 years. I am a graduate from UC Davis with a degree in Dramatic Arts and a minor in Human Development. After graduating, I worked as a Montessori teacher for 2 years. I moved to NYC in 2013 to be closer to my passions of dance, music, and theatre. In between auditions, I nannied for many families and then was hired for a company where I worked until March 2020. I also have experience in the classroom. In the last 4 years I have worked as a long term substitute in Montessori schools, private schools and public schools in NYC. My most recent teaching experience was for one full year as an Associate Teacher in a 2nd grade classroom.
