About Malea

Any opportunity to work with children, are ones I've always felt myself gravitate to, despite me pursuing my dream in music. From my experiences in working with children, I realized there is a give and take when working with different children of all ages. my experience includes being a music instructor for kids, babysitting for multiple families for the past 5 years, and being an assistant to a youth dance director. It's quite rewarding being in a position where I can provide guidance as well as being in a space where I can give back. When babysitting from the ages of 1 to 13 years old, I love to indulge with the youth in different activities such as arts and crafts, reading out loud, outdoor activities, building Legos, and lastly mind working games. What really draws me in to working with children is what you can take away from them. At times the impact that children have is underestimated but they are in fact the future, and I believe in investing that time and care into them.
