My recent experience is as a head infant teacher, I took care of eight infants ages 2 months-18 months, with the help of an assistant. I made a daily routine for the infants to follow and also filled out food paperwork daily to document what they have been offered to eat each day. I also created a curriculum for the class to follow each week. Each infant had a milestone checklist from the "Early childhood direction center" that kept track of motor development, cognitive development, language development, and social/emotional development. I also met with parents once a year for a parent-teacher conference to discuss the development of their child. As the preschool teacher, I took care of 12 3-5-year-olds. My mission was to get them prepared for kindergarten. I followed the "All About Preschoolers" by Kaplan curriculum, the class would spend about one week for each unit. Subjects we went over were Art, Language Arts, Math, Pre writing, Social-emotional, and Science.
