About Makenna

I am almost 19 years old, and through high school, my focus was on child psychology and development! I just finished my freshman and sophomore year of college majoring in Psychology, eventually with a minor in child development, at Cal State Long Beach. I am looking for an opportunity to connect with families in the area, babysitting, nannying, etc. I have my own car, so I am willing to do other errands or tasks as needed. I completed a student teaching internship with a 5th grade classroom at Gold Ridge Elementary School, and I have been a gymnastics coach at Tricks Gymnastics for almost 2 years. I have been a nanny as well as a drawing teacher for an afterschool program in various elementary schools over the past year! I am very creative and know how to get along well with children, so I am looking for a way to do this outside of coaching. My biggest love is working with children to understand forming relationships and being excited for the opportunities that every day brings!
