About Makenna

I am a college junior studying Nursing at Old Dominion University. I spent my first two years of college studying Clinical Neuroscience at Virginia Tech, before transferring to further my desired career as a Nurse Practitioner. I have about 4 years of babysitting experience, beginning when I was a young teenager. Additionally, I worked at my local church for 2 years as assistant to the children's program director, while helping with the nursery and daycare. I am a nationally certified EMT, including CPR certification. I had the privilege of competing on the D1 Virginia Tech women's tennis during my freshman year before retiring to further focus on my academics. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, playing tennis, and taking my dog on hikes.
