About Makena

Hello, my name is Makena. My goal is to make everyday the best it can be for my patients. I'm a very caring hard worker who takes pride in what I do. I am trustworthy, reliable and very flexible. I care for my patients like my own family. I have been around the health care scene my whole life, helping my mother take care of my great grandparents for many years. Experience: ALS patient(8 months): tracheostomy care and certified, hoyer lift, ventilator. Stroke patient (7 months): peg tube care, range of motion/physical therapy, speech therapy. Companionship (1 year): transportation to/from doctor appointments/errands, end of life care, oxygen and cPap, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, and medication administration.
