About Makena

I have been babysitting for family friends for the last 10 years during summer months when I am home from college. I love exercise and being outside, and think it is so important to help children be more excited about being outside and finding fun activities they love to do and that help them become healthy and happy individuals. I am positive and happy and put one-hundred percent into every job I do! I hope I can make a positive difference in those people I am around. Overall, I have worked with children aged 6 months old to 12 years of age and would care for those who are older and younger than that age range as well. Some extra background on me: I recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with two degrees, one in Anthropology and one in English/Creative Writing and I hope to go into elementary education in the next few years. I ran cross country and track for CU for the five years I attended the university and am now running professionally in Bozeman, MT.
