About Makayley

I am a reliable, fun and caring young adult who loves interacting with children of all ages. Throughout Junior High and High School I worked in the peer tutor programs with special needs kids and this is where I gained my love for working with children. After graduation, I worked at American Preparatory Academy as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade instructor. The Fall of 2018 I volunteered with a humanitarian program and spent four months in Haiti living in an orphanage and teaching the kids English. In addition to teaching them English I spent the majority of the day playing and interacting with these kids. With my diverse interactions with children I am prepared to nurture, teach and love your kids. If needed, I am also able to do other tasks such as clean, cook and carpool. CPR and First Aid certified.
