About Makayla

I became a caregiver because I genuinely love being part of a child's growth and supporting families in meaningful ways. I have over five years of experience caring for children from newborns to 12 years old and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I'd describe myself as patient, calm, and friendly, and I strive to create warm approachable environments where kids feel safe and supported. I always follow the parent's lead when it comes to household rules and communication style because I believe consistency is so important. I enjoy staying active with outdoor play as well as board games/puzzles, and educational activities that make learning fun. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal prep and light housekeeping to make your day a little easier! I'm CPR and First Aid trained, and I take safety very seriously. I'm really looking forward to bringing positive energy, reliability, and care into your home, and creating a nurturing fun space for your children:)
