I'd describe my personality as dedicated, responsible and slightly silly! I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I volunteered with Longmeadow's summer extended program for kids with special needs age 2-5. Through the program I met several families that I babysat for until I graduated high school. In my spare time, I like to take my dog on long walks/hikes, spend a day at the beach and get lost in a good book. My skills include being a calming, yet playful presence, working with children with special needs and working with multiple children.

Makayla was our caregiver for our son with autism when he was little. She was always involved with the little ones at my son’s school because her mom was an educator in special needs. Makayla started babysitting as an early teen and grew into a wonderful caring adult. She is and always will be part of our family. Today my son can call her a friend. Makayla is hard working, dependable and full of sunshine. You child/children will love her.
