About Makayla

I'd describe my personality as patient, non-judgmental, creative, and fun-loving. I like working with kids because they bring out my inner child. I want to preserve and encourage those fresh little minds to do their best! I'm looking for a job that has consistency and good hours. I also like to stay busy so I dont mind working around the house or going on outings! I currently work in the ER (2 years) as a patient sitter so I have plenty experience babysitting kids and adults alike in a high stress environment. Looking to transition into something similar but less high acuity and more active. I have my BLS I started working with kids when I was 16. I helped raise my little brother from a couple months old till about 7. In my spare time, I like to draw, hike, game, and do activities. My skills include de-escalation, multi-tasking, emotional coping skills.
