About Makayla

Hello, thank you for taking the time to consider me for your childcare needs! My name is MaKayla, or just Kayla is fine (some kiddos have difficulty pronouncing my name). I am 28 years old and working on my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am a full-time student and have a full-time career as a Behavior Technician working in ABA Therapy with children who have Autism. I fell in love with this field and love having the opportunity to give back to the community. I have weekends and weeknight availability and I hoping to find a regular booking for a few evenings a week and open on the weekends. I am certified in first-aid and CPR, I have had a recent negative TB test, a fingerprint clearance card, and if it helps I am a great swimmer! I love doing arts and crafts and fun science experiments or taking a break from screens and getting outside! If allowed to work with your child(ren), my main focus would be to support their social-emotional development and provide a safe environment.
