About Makayla

Throughout my entire childhood and adolescence, my mother ran a home daycare where I learned to work with several children at once from a young age. I have taken care of age groups ranging from infant to middle school between one-time babysitting gigs and long-term nannying. I have been CPR certified twice in the past, but do not have certification at this time, just a heads up. I am adamant about maintaining a safe environment both physically and emotionally, and always strive to be a comforting presence so kids can express themselves. I have taken 3 years of college (do not currently plan to continue!) taken lifespan development, and I am also knowledgeable about Autism. Due to that knowledge and my patient, goofy personality, I connect well with children. On a side note, I love animals of any kind, so I can help with them as well!
