About Makayla

I have over 5 years of experience working with and providing nanny services for kids. I was a learning advocate for k-12 kids for a year in college, providing free education assistance and mentoring to kids from low-income families. I have volunteered at Tanner Chapel AME children's church for over 5 years, providing educational lessons and activities for infants and kids while their parents are in service. I also work as a stability specialist/family coach for a battered women and children shelter as a full-time job. I teach new moms how to appropriately care for infants and provide them with case management to help them become self-sufficient mothers on their own. I have my bachelor's degree in Sociology from Grand Canyon University. In addition, I have been a part-time nanny for over three years now. I usually provide services to my church members and for infants (my specialty). However, I would love an opportunity to gain new relationships with families needing childcare.
