About Makayla

I've worked as a camp counselor for 3 months spending 24 hours with children everyday! I've supervised children during hikes, swimming, crafts, in cabin time and meals. I've volunteered as a ymca helper to help supervised children and face paint! I am currently studying child development to become a kindergarten or elementary teacher. I enjoy working with kids, my summer at camp showed me a way to work with kids and understand how to take care of them! I'd describe my personality as funny, kind and outgoing, I'm currently 19 years old! I like working with kids because I enjoy making them laugh and making sure the impact I have on them can help them learn new skills and abilities as well as feel a sense of comfort speaking to me if any problems happen. In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach a lot, I enjoy swimming a lot. I love camping, going on hikes and seeing beautiful views. I love dogs, I enjoy taking my dogs on walks
