About Makayla

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, caring, and optimistic. I like working with kids because I hope to one day have a family of my own, and growing up taking care of my younger siblings, I've always known childcare was something I wanted to do as an adult. I started working with kids when I was 14 as a paid sitter, but I've taken care of my siblings since I was 6-7 years old. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog Lucchese, go to concerts with friends, and spend time with my family. I also love roadtrips and any excuse to take out my camera! One thing you should know about me is I will always do a little extra. Whether that's switching your laundry or helping with homework, if I can help make the day run a little smoother for your family I want to! My skills include "meltdown management", homework help, cleaning, nap time, feeding, and I also have experience with medication and therapies so if your child needs a little extra care I'm happy to do whatever is needed.
