Hello, my name is Makayla! I am a grad student at UNO getting my Master's in Social Work. I will be graduating May 2024 and plan on becoming a therapist for children. I graduated with my bachelors in social work in May of 2020 and have been working in child care for five years. I have mainly been working with children 2-3 years old but have experience with children 0-5. I also have experience with school aged children. I did an internship at Girls Inc in Omaha where I worked with girls aged 5-18 on self-care/emotional/social skills. I currently work at Primrose of La Vista and have lots of experience in creating educational activities for kids. I love doing crafts and spending time outside with kids!
