Hi families My name is Makaila & I am (hopefully) your next babysitter. I am currently a full time nanny for a wonderful 18-month-old boy who I've been with since he was 2 months old. I am back on Care. com to find some new families for date night sitting, also to find something recurring for after work hours. I have been in childcare professionally for 4 years but have always had a passion for children. I took Child Development classes in high school and was always my family babysitter since everyone knew how much I love kids. I previously worked in a daycare center as a teacher to 12-18-month-olds. Makaila is wonderful! We interviewed her as a full time nanny but another family snatched her up (rightfully so) before we could make her an offer. BUT, we still found Makaila to be a wonderful person who is playful, responsible and creative with my son. She's even babysat for our son and our friends kids as a group so we could double date. Makaila is also punctual and even shows up early and is always dependable, even confirming with us ahead of time.
