About Maiya

I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and logical. I like working with kids because seeing them in joy makes me really happy, and I care about kids being safe and happy. I'm looking for a job that will provide me with the supplemental income I need for college, while giving me experience. I started working with kids when I was very young, around 8-9, when I would watch my cousins at family events. They were... energetic, to say the least, but I loved playing with them. I would take care of my youngest cousin when she was a baby at around 13. In my spare time, I like to read, play video games, and go on walks. I also enjoy playing the guitar. My skills include being trained in first aid and CPR, managing conflicts, and (for older kids) helping with homework.
