About Maiya

Hi, parents! My name is Maiya, and I'm a rising senior in high school. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and be themselves. I have three years of childcare experience caring for up to three children at a time. I've also volunteered in my church's children's program and have babysat for family friends and other local families. Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of being patient, and engaging while adapting to each child's personality, and needs. Whether we're playing outside, or enjoying educational activities, I strive to make every day both fun and meaningful. I'm comfortable following household routines and rules, and I'm happy to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, and other tasks that make your day a little easier. My goal is to be someone your family can rely on and someone your children feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to spend time with!
