About Maira

Hola! I am a passionate, professional Spanish tutor specializing in helping children learn to speak confidently and naturally. Instead of relying on boring grammar drills and memorization, I use an interactive, research-proven method called TPR (Total Physical Response) Storytelling. In our sessions, your child won't just sit and listen-they will act out stories, use gestures, and become part of the narrative. This immersive, active approach makes learning Spanish feel like playtime while ensuring the vocabulary truly sticks. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to improve their conversational skills, I tailor every session to their unique interests, energy level, and pace. I love building a supportive, encouraging environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the adventure. Let's partner together to make your child bilingual!
